Artificial intelligence will not simplify work, but change its essence, - Nvidia CEO says
During the U.S.-Saudi Arabia Investment Forum in Washington, D.C., Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, said that the common perception that artificial intelligence will lead to a reduction in working hours may be wrong. Instead, he believes that technological advances will lead to increased productivity and new projects, which will mean more work for employees instead of additional days off. Huang noted that the integration of AI will make certain tasks easier, but it will also open up new opportunities and ideas.

Huang's comments contrast with the views of Elon Musk, who has compared future work to a "hobby" and believes that in the future, work will become more voluntary. Despite Musk's optimistic forecasts, Huang emphasizes that productivity growth will not lead to layoffs, but rather will enable doctors to handle more cases by focusing on more complex tasks, which is demonstrated by the growing demand for qualified specialists in medicine.
Huang also noted that college graduates have concerns about the elimination of entry-level vacancies due to automation. In the face of changes in the labor market, young people need to adapt to new requirements by obtaining additional qualifications in order to keep up with the competition with professionals who can effectively use new technologies.
