Special Operation by NABU and SAP: Vadym Stolar and Maksym Mykytas May Be Involved in the Case
On the morning of August 19, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office are conducting a special operation to expose a criminal organization which, according to anti-corruption agencies, operated under the leadership of a current and a former member of the Ukrainian Parliament, with the involvement of high-ranking officials from the Office of the President and other individuals.
The NABU and SAPO noted that details of the operation will be released at a later time.
Member of Parliament Yaroslav Zheleznyak stated that, according to his information, a current MP from the now-banned “OPZZh” party—whom he described as a “very well-known real estate developer”—may be involved in the case.
At the same time, sources in law enforcement agencies reported that the NABU and SAP operation involves Iryna Mudra, deputy head of the Office of the President; Vadym Stolar, a member of parliament from the former “OPZZh” party; and former member of parliament Maksym Mykytas.
According to the publication’s sources, officials from the Ministry of Justice and representatives of “SENS Bank” may also be involved in the case.
At this time, the anti-corruption agencies have not announced any official charges against the individuals named, and NABU and the SAPO are not disclosing details of the investigation. Information regarding the possible involvement of specific individuals requires confirmation as part of the investigation.
