Participants in the four-party talks in Switzerland agreed on a roadmap designed to lead the United States and Iran to a final agreement within 60 days.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to establish a High-Level Committee to oversee the negotiation process. The negotiating teams will report regularly to the committee on the implementation of all agenda items.

In particular, discussions will cover Iran’s nuclear program, sanctions policy, monitoring mechanisms, and dispute resolution mechanisms related to the implementation of the June 17 memorandum.

The negotiators paid particular attention to the safety of shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. To prevent possible incidents, the parties agreed to establish special communication channels that will allow for a rapid response to potential threats to maritime traffic.

The negotiating teams also agreed to establish a group for conflict resolution in Lebanon with the participation of Lebanese representatives. Its main task will be to find ways to end hostilities and stabilize the situation in the country.

At this time, the details of the agreements reached are not being disclosed.
