Opta's supercomputer has identified the top favorite to win the Champions League

London's Arsenal tops the list of favorites to win Europe's most prestigious tournament with a 34.9% probability. The odds for the other semifinalists are as follows: PSG has 32.25%, Bayern Munich has 22.67%, and Madrid’s Atlético is considered the least likely winner with a probability of 10.18%.

This was reported by Glavkom.

The day before, Spain’s Atlético and England’s Arsenal played to a 1-1 draw in the first leg of the semifinal. Viktor Jokeres opened the scoring, confidently converting a penalty after a foul by David Hanzko. In the second half, the Madrid side increased the pressure, leading to a penalty awarded for a handball by Ben White, which was converted by Julian Alvarez.

The draw in the first leg means the decisive battle for a spot in the final will take place in the second leg, scheduled for next week. Despite the even score on the board, the supercomputer continues to favor the Londoners in the overall tournament standings. Analysts note that Atlético had to show significant aggression to salvage the game, particularly after Antoine Griezmann’s shot hit the crossbar and Ademola Lookman’s active play. The high odds for PSG and Bayern also confirm the fierce competition for the trophy among European giants.

As a reminder, Donetsk’s Shakhtar claimed the titles of best player and best coach following the latest round of the national championship. Defender Valeriy Bondar was named the top player after his goal secured a narrow victory for the team over Zhytomyr’s Polissya.

In the 24th round of the Ukrainian Premier League, Kolos from Kovalevka sensationally defeated LNZ from Cherkasy with a score of 1-0.
