Ukraine and its partners have formed a new defense coalition called CORPUS
Kyiv, along with a number of European countries, has joined a new initiative called CORPUS, aimed at making defense procurement more coordinated and efficient. The participants plan to exchange expertise and technologies and improve supply chain logistics.
RBC-Ukraine reports this from the scene.
The CORPUS (Coalition for Resilient Procurement and Unified Support) coalition includes procurement agencies from Ukraine, Finland, Italy, Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. The parties signed a memorandum to this effect on April 30.
According to Artem Romanyukov, director of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, the new structure will become “an extensive network of procurement agencies from partner countries.”
“This will allow for better procurement planning, the formation of reliable supply chains, and the identification of weak links,” he noted.
As part of this initiative, Ukraine will be able to share with its partners the practical experience in supplying troops gained during a full-scale war, while the partners, in turn, will gain access to practical solutions that are already working in real-world conditions.

Arsen Zhumadilov, Director of the Defense Procurement Agency of Ukraine (DOTA), emphasized that the cooperation involves the exchange of both technologies and approaches to procurement management.
“This includes the Dot-Chain system, within which we have essentially launched quasi-market mechanisms for supplying our troops. These are various systems for inventory management and management accounting. How these systems interact with each other and what is actually being used,” he explained.
Zhumadilov will lead the coalition for the first year, after which the chairmanship will rotate among the other participants.
