Medvedev spoke of a nuclear apocalypse and insulted those who don't believe in it
On April 30, Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, stated that the scenario of a nuclear war is a real possibility and that preparations must be made for it. He called those who do not take this threat seriously “daydreamers or fools.”

The former president of the Russian Federation has once again begun threatening the world with nuclear war.
“I am often criticized for my harsh rhetoric and references to a nuclear apocalypse, but, unfortunately, such a scenario is indeed possible. Anyone who does not understand this is a dreamer or a fool,” Medvedev said during a speech at the federal educational marathon “Knowledge.”
At the same time, he added that he would not want such a turn of events, but it cannot be ruled out, so it is necessary to prepare for it. According to him, this is precisely why Russia has a nuclear triad.
Medvedev also noted that it is currently pointless to speculate on who would be the first to use nuclear weapons, but emphasized that global tensions remain extremely high, particularly due to the situation in the Middle East.
