Trump sharply criticized Meloni and Italy
Former U.S. President Donald Trump has harshly criticized Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

Trump said he was disappointed with Meloni’s stance, particularly on energy issues, and expressed doubt that her actions have the support of the Italian people.
“I’m shocked by her. I thought she had courage—I was wrong,” he said.
Trump also stated that Meloni is “no longer the same person,” and Italy, in his words, “will not be the same country.”
Separately, he again criticized migration policy in Europe, claiming that immigration “is destroying Italy and the entire continent.”
