The U.S. Embassy in Baghdad has been attacked again - Al Jazeera.

Attacks on the U.S. Embassy and a diplomatic compound near the airport have resumed in Baghdad. Rockets and explosive drones have once again struck U.S. facilities, though there are currently no reports of casualties or significant damage, Al Jazeera reports.

Rocket and drone attacks on U.S. facilities in Baghdad resumed following a series of strikes earlier today. According to unnamed security sources, rockets and explosive drones targeted the U.S. Embassy in the Iraqi capital; sirens sounded, and explosions were heard near the embassy.

At the same time, at least three explosive drones attacked a U.S. diplomatic facility near Baghdad International Airport, prompting the activation of the C-RAM system to intercept the threats. So far, there are no reports of injuries or significant damage.

Despite the lack of official confirmation regarding casualties, such attacks continue to highlight tensions in the region and the heightened threat to U.S. diplomatic facilities in Iraq. Experts note that such attacks may indicate increased activity by armed groups in the capital and the need to strengthen security measures for personnel at diplomatic facilities.
