Rocket and drone attacks on U.S. facilities in Baghdad resumed following a series of strikes earlier today. According to unnamed security sources, rockets and explosive drones targeted the U.S. Embassy in the Iraqi capital; sirens sounded, and explosions were heard near the embassy.
At the same time, at least three explosive drones attacked a U.S. diplomatic facility near Baghdad International Airport, prompting the activation of the C-RAM system to intercept the threats. So far, there are no reports of injuries or significant damage.
Despite the lack of official confirmation regarding casualties, such attacks continue to highlight tensions in the region and the heightened threat to U.S. diplomatic facilities in Iraq.
