A pedophile who lured children into sending intimate photos was arrested in Pavlohrad

Under the procedural supervision of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a 34-year-old resident of Pavlohrad has been notified of the charges against him. The man is accused of illegally obtaining access to child pornography, as well as purchasing, storing, and distributing it, and of sexually abusing a minor. 

The investigation established that between 2025 and 2026, the suspect met a 13-year-old girl online. During their correspondence, he systematically steered the conversation toward sexual topics, persistently asked the child to send him photos and videos of an intimate nature, and also sent her pornographic material himself, urging her to imitate the actions depicted in them.

During a search of the suspect’s cell phones, law enforcement officers discovered a massive archive of illegal material that he had downloaded from the internet. In total, more than 3,500 photographs and over 800 video files containing child pornography were seized. The suspect has been detained and taken into custody.

In the city of Lutsk, law enforcement officers exposed a woman suspected of producing and distributing pornographic content involving her 3-year-old daughter. According to the investigation, the woman used her child to create illegal material and passed it on to another person in exchange for payment.
