A fire broke out in a non-residential building in Kyiv's Podilsky District; the fire was contained
On July 15, a large-scale fire broke out in a non-residential building in Kyiv’s Podilsky District. The fire spread over an area of about 800 square meters.
This was reported by Pavlo Petrov, a spokesperson for the State Emergency Service, in a comment to RBC-Ukraine. According to him, as of 3:30 p.m., the fire had been contained. There are no longer any open flames, and no risk of the fire spreading further has been reported.
Earlier, local Telegram channels reported that the fire had broken out in a warehouse. However, the State Emergency Service clarified that the fire occurred in a non-residential building.
Rescue workers continue to operate at the scene. No further details regarding the cause of the fire or possible casualties have been reported at this time.

As a reminder, in Kyiv during curfew, patrol officers detained the driver of a Toyota Corolla who ignored an order to stop, struck a soldier at a checkpoint, and, while fleeing from law enforcement, damaged several police vehicles. Two patrol officers were also injured in the incident.
