Ukrainians over 40 to receive 2000 hryvnias for free health checkups
Starting from January 31, 2026, a state program of free medical screenings will be launched in Ukraine for people aged 40 and older. Every person reaching this age will receive a notification via the Diia app inviting them to undergo a health screening and will be credited 2000 hryvnias on a special Diia.Card to pay for the examination. These funds can only be used at medical institutions approved by the National Health Service of Ukraine, including both public and private facilities.

The health checkup will last from 60 to 90 minutes and requires at least one visit to the medical facility. The program aims to improve early detection of diseases and overall health status among middle-aged and older adults.
It is expected that this initiative will encourage Ukrainians to actively take care of their health and reduce the future burden on the healthcare system.
