The government has set the electricity rate for residential customers through the end of October 2026
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has extended the current electricity tariff for residential consumers at 4.32 UAH per kWh until October 31, 2026.
This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
The decision aims to support households and maintain stable prices for the population amid martial law. A preferential mechanism is provided for categories of consumers who use electricity as their primary source of heat.
Specifically, during the heating season—from October 1 to April 30—owners of homes with electric heating and residents of high-rise buildings without gas will pay a reduced rate. The preferential rate is 2.64 UAH per kWh, provided consumption does not exceed 2,000 kWh per month.
If this limit is exceeded, as well as during the off-heating season, the cost of electricity will be calculated at the base rate. The implementation of these measures ensures cost predictability for Ukrainian families for the next year and a half.
