Video: An oil depot and a Wildberries warehouse caught fire in Russia following a drone attack
On the night of July 23, drones attacked two regions in Russia. In the Ulyanovsk Oblast, a fire broke out at facilities belonging to the company “NS-Oil,” and in the Voronezh Oblast, a logistics complex belonging to the Wildberries marketplace caught fire.
In the village of Novospasskoye in the Ulyanovsk region, drones struck the NS-Oil refinery—according to monitoring channels, the company’s oil depot and liquefied gas storage facility were hit. No details on the extent of the damage are available at this time; the information is being verified.
The plant is part of the Prominvest holding company and is engaged in the primary refining of hydrocarbons—it produces gas oil and diesel fractions, gasoline-like products, and other petroleum products, which it supplies in bulk to the Russian domestic market. Over the past few years, processing volumes have increased from 20,000 to 600,000 metric tons per year, and the facility is operating at 100% capacity. The refinery is included in the Russian Ministry of Energy’s list of continuous-cycle enterprises, making it a critically important fuel infrastructure facility for the occupiers. There is no public information regarding international sanctions against the company or its owners.
Novospaske is located approximately 900 km from the Ukrainian border—meaning the attack reached deep into Russian territory. This is not the first time that “NS-Oil” facilities have been targeted: the plant was already struck in the fall of 2025.
At the same time, Voronezh itself came under a massive attack overnight—a series of explosions rocked the city. According to Exilenova+, one of the targets was the Wildberries logistics hub in the Novousmansky District of the region. Details regarding the consequences of the attack and the condition of the facility are still being clarified.
The complex in Novaya Usman was opened in November 2025—it is one of Russia’s largest private logistics facilities, covering an area of 156,000 square meters, and capable of processing up to 1.8 million items per day once fully automated.

Losses incurred by Russian sellers from the July 22 drone attacks on Wildberries warehouses in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk could amount to approximately 100–120 billion rubles (1.27–1.53 billion U.S. dollars), assuming the warehouses were fully stocked and most of the goods were destroyed.
On the night of July 18, Ukrainian UAVs attacked the Russian Wildberries logistics center in Elektrostal, near Moscow, and in the Tomsk region.
