A double terrorist attack occurred near a residential building in Bucha this morning; police officers were injured
A series of explosions occurred this morning near an apartment building in a suburb of Kyiv. The Kyiv Regional Police have described the incident as a terrorist attack.
This was reported by the Kyiv Regional Police.
It is reported that at 5:35 a.m., the 112 emergency hotline received a call from a resident of Bucha regarding an explosion that occurred on the street. The blast wave damaged windows in her home.
Police officers, State Emergency Service rescuers, and Kyiv Regional Police bomb disposal experts quickly arrived at the scene. Law enforcement officers immediately cordoned off the area in accordance with the protocol for responding to terrorist threats and warned residents of the danger of a secondary explosion.
While responding to the call, another explosion occurred at the scene.
As a reminder, the counterintelligence unit of the Security Service of Ukraine, in cooperation with the National Police, recently prevented a terrorist attack in the center of Kharkiv and detained a 16-year-old agent of Russian military intelligence who was planning an explosion in the frontline city.
Earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine detained a Russian agent in the Kharkiv region who was gathering data for missile and bomb strikes on Ukrainian military positions in the Kupiansk direction.
In addition, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detained a Russian agent who, under the guise of fulfilling defense contracts, was coordinating airstrikes on Kyiv.
