The High Council of Justice has suspended a judge from the Berdyansk Court and is continuing to review the complaint against Lviv judge Marmash

Olena Kosheva, a judge of the Berdiansk City and District Court in Zaporizhzhia region, has been temporarily suspended from judicial duties.

This was reported by the High Council of Justice.

The decision was made based on the conclusion of the Third Disciplinary Chamber, which held the judge accountable under disciplinary law and submitted a motion for her dismissal.

In accordance with the law, following such a decision, the judge is automatically suspended from performing her duties until the High Council of Justice issues a final decision regarding her dismissal or the revocation of the disciplinary sanction.

The High Council of Justice dismissed two judges and continues to review the complaint against Lviv judge Marmash.

The complaint against Marmash is that he issued his decision after the pre-trial investigation period had expired, which made it impossible to grant the relevant motion. The only lawful option in such a situation was to return the motion; however, Judge Marmash V.Y. failed to comply with the requirements of the law.
