Zelenskyy spoke of the daily struggle to secure interceptor missiles for the air defense system

Ukraine is forced to constantly remind its partners of the shortage of missiles for air defense systems due to the allies’ own domestic challenges. The issue of ensuring air defense remains critically important amid ongoing attacks by Russia.

This was reported by Censor.NET, citing a statement by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a press conference with Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten.

The head of state emphasized that effective communication is a key condition for stable military aid, but details regarding the extent of the shortage and supplies are not being disclosed for security reasons. He specifically noted the Netherlands’ support in strengthening Ukraine’s air defense. According to the president, daily coordination of aid is necessary to ensure that Ukraine’s security remains a priority for the international community.

Following the Russian attack, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that he had instructed the Air Force commander to contact partners who had previously promised to provide missiles for the Patriot systems.

Zelenskyyannounced the news regarding the missiles for the Patriot systems following a conversation with the NATO Secretary General.
