The President of Estonia visited a rehabilitation center in the Kyiv region

Estonian President Alar Karis, accompanied by Ambassador Tiina Intelmann, visited the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ “Pushcha-Vodytsia” rehabilitation center in the Kyiv region and spoke with wounded Ukrainian defenders.

The Estonian delegation familiarized themselves with the center’s operations, where military personnel undergo physical rehabilitation, art therapy, and animal-assisted therapy.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that since the start of the full-scale invasion, the rehabilitation system has changed significantly and is now helping people with the most severe injuries return to an active life.

Estonia has indefinitely suspended the 12-hour operating schedule at road border crossings with Russia. Three crossings will operate daily from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Authorities cite the security situation and the need to use border service resources more efficiently as reasons for the decision.

Estonia has launched a special national planning procedure to determine the route of hydrogen pipelines within the North Baltic Hydrogen Corridor, which spans six countries. The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications is currently seeking a consultant. Once a consultant is selected, planning and evaluation of potential locations can begin.
