A senior investigator with the Kyiv Police has found himself at the center of a scandal over apartment renovations
A video has been circulating on social media in which a man claims that an acquaintance of his performed renovation work in apartment No. 73 of building 5a in the “Svitlo Park” residential complex in Kyiv, but the client allegedly never paid for the services rendered.
According to publicly available information, the owner of the apartment in question is Serhiy Pshenyshny, a senior investigator with the Investigative Department of the Svyatoshynsky Police Department in Kyiv.
According to his 2025 declaration, the official purchased a 76.7-square-meter apartment in the capital with an estimated value of approximately 3.86 million UAH, as well as a non-residential property. In addition, the list of assets includes a land plot in the Obukhiv district, a share in another Kyiv apartment, as well as a Volkswagen Transporter and a KIA Magentis.
The financial data in the declaration shows that in 2025, the investigator received approximately 557,000 UAH in salary, while his wife declared approximately 744,000 UAH in income from her work in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the patrol police. The documents also indicate nearly 1 million UAH in cash savings held by Pshenishny himself and 150,000 UAH held by his wife, as well as cash gifts from his father totaling approximately 790,000 UAH, according to the Telegram channel “Dark Knight.”
