Initially, city officials noted that information regarding possible casualties was still being verified. Later, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that debris from the UAV had damaged the facade of a two-story café building.
“In the Holosiivskyi district, debris from a drone caused damage to the facade of a two-story café building. There was no fire and no casualties,” Klitschko said. Thus, the building sustained damage as a result of the falling debris, but no fire broke out. According to preliminary information, no one was injured. The Russian attack on Kyiv also caused damage in other districts of the capital. City services continue to assess the damage and clean up the aftermath of the strike. Experts are set to assess the extent of damage to the café and the surrounding area. The Kyiv City State Administration reported the damage.
