A major fire was extinguished in Kyiv following a morning attack by Russia

In Kyiv, rescue workers extinguished a large-scale fire that broke out in the Holosiivskyi district following a Russian attack on the morning of August 30. The fire engulfed a non-residential building covering an area of about 3,000 square meters; there were no casualties or injuries.

The Russian army attacked Kyiv again on the morning of August 30. As a result of the strike, a non-residential building caught fire in the Holosiivskyi district. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that the fire had been extinguished. According to rescue workers, the fire was extensive this time. The total area affected by the fire was 3,000 square meters.

Rescue workers quickly arrived at the scene and worked to contain and completely extinguish the fire. The State Emergency Service reported that the fire has already been extinguished. There were no casualties or injuries. Emergency services continue to respond to Russian attacks on the capital and address their aftermath.

The State Emergency Service noted that Russia has not stopped attacking Kyiv for the fourth consecutive day. “For the fourth consecutive day, Russia has not stopped terrorizing the capital’s civilian population,” the State Emergency Service reported. This morning, the aftermath of the strike was reported specifically in the Holosiivskyi district. The fire broke out in a building not used for residential purposes, so there is currently no information about civilian casualties. Rescue workers continue to operate on-site and will assist in mitigating the effects of the attack as needed. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

At least three people were injured on August 30 as a result of a Russian drone attack on Kyiv. Fires broke out in several districts of the capital, including a residential building in the Obolonskyi district.

The company “Chysta Voda” temporarily suspended the production and delivery of drinking water following the Russian attack on the Kyiv region on August 28. Its production facility is located in the village of Mila in the Bucha district, which was damaged by the strike. The company says it has suffered significant losses.
