Tram and bus service has resumed in Kyiv following a massive attack by Russia
A number of tram and bus routes in the capital have resumed normal service after being temporarily rerouted due to the aftermath of the massive Russian shelling on May 24.
This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.
In particular, trams No. 11, 12, 16, and 19 are running again in Kyiv. At the same time, the Kyiv City State Administration warned that public transportation is currently operating with deviations from the approved schedule.
Also, following temporary restrictions, bus route No. 50 has resumed service, though it is also operating with some delays and schedule changes.
City officials noted that public transportation schedules had to be quickly adjusted following the Russian Federation’s massive nighttime attack on Kyiv on May 24, which damaged infrastructure and residential buildings in various parts of the capital.
The number of casualties in Kyiv as a result of the massive Russian attack has risen to 87 people, including children.
