Ukrainian singer and TV host Volodymyr Dantes has founded his own production company, Piece of Studio,and has begun work on his debut feature film, *Pause*. The project has already made it to the finals of the “Tysyachovesna” presidential grant program.
The dramedy will tell the story of a millennial couple who, after five years of dating, decide to take a break to reevaluate their feelings.
Yuriy Karagodin, Yevgen Zhuravlev, and Fima Konstantinovsky are working on the screenplay. Yaroslav Lodygin is directing the film, Mikhail Lyubarsky is the cinematographer, and Vladlen Odudenko is the production designer.
Currently, “Pause” is competing for state funding but ranks 225th out of 290 projects participating in the competitive selection process.

Ukrainian Oksana Lyniv became the first woman to conduct a Swiss orchestra at a concert dedicated to the UN’s anniversary. The event took place at Victoria Hall in Geneva.
Oksana Lyniv was named “Best Conductor of 2020” by the opera magazine “Oper!Das Magazin.”
