Jennifer Lopez chose a Ukrainian brand for her premiere in New York

At the New York premiere of the new film *Office Romance*, Jennifer Lopez caught the public’s attention not only with her soft pink ensemble but also with an accessory created by a Ukrainian brand. The singer and actress chose a skirt by designer Anna October, which became part of her evening look on the red carpet. The item costs about $460, or over 20,000 hryvnias.

The global star shared photos from the premiere on her blog, where she appeared in a soft and elegant look, built around a combination of a powder-pink cardigan and a satin skirt with a delicate neckline. It was the Kriss skirt from the Ukrainian brand Anna October that became the centerpiece of her look, catching the attention of fashion critics and fans alike.

Jennifer Lopez completed the look with semi-transparent heels, a white handbag styled after classic luxury brand designs, and sunglasses that added the finishing touch to her appearance at the event. “Jennifer Lopez appeared at the premiere in New York wearing an outfit from the Ukrainian brand,” the post reads.

The actress posted photos from the event on Instagram, where her look quickly garnered reactions from fans and fashion media. The Ukrainian brand Anna October, whose piece Lopez chose, is no stranger to the wardrobes of global celebrities, but this appearance served as yet another confirmation that Ukrainian fashion is making its presence felt with increasing confidence on the international stage.

Earlier, Ivo Bobul publicly defended Taisiya Povaliy and Ani Lorak, who had moved to Russia and subsequently supported his position. The singer believes that conditions were created in Ukraine that made it impossible for them to continue their careers.

After People’s Artist of Ukraine Ivo Bobul justified his compatriot Ani Lorak’s move to Russia by claiming that she was allegedly prevented from working in Ukraine, the singer herself—who is accused in Ukraine of betraying her homeland—also echoed this version of events.
