Forbes has named the most in-demand Ukrainian actors during the war
Forbes Ukraine has released a ranking of the ten most in-demand Ukrainian actors and actresses who have appeared most frequently in film projects since 2022.
The undisputed leader of the list is Andriy Isaienko, star of the series “The Female Doctor,” who has demonstrated the highest productivity on set.
At the same time, other well-known masters of the domestic screen took the top spots in terms of financial compensation.
Ukrainian cinema continues to actively develop amid martial law, and Ukrainian artists have completely replaced their former Russian colleagues in the market.
Many performers are successfully building their careers, appearing before audiences in both leading and diverse supporting roles.
According to analysts, the film industry currently sees the highest demand for male actors in the 35- to 45-year-old age group.
The top-ranked actor, Andriy Isaienko, has been involved in a vast number of film projects, securing him a solid first place in terms of the number of contracts fulfilled.
Experts highly praised his work ethic and contribution to modern TV series and feature films.
“Since 2022, he has appeared in 27 projects, 22 of which were leading roles,” notes Forbes.
As for the financial side of domestic film production, a distinct group of leaders with the highest fee rates has emerged.
In terms of pay, two famous actors confidently share the top spots. Specifically, the cost of one day of filming for Taras Tsymbaliuk is 50,000–60,000 hryvnias.
Stanislav Boklan can count on a similar amount, receiving 60,000 hryvnias per day of filming.
