A woman successfully sued to get a refund for tickets to Polyakova's 2020 concert

A concertgoer named Olena successfully sued to recover the cost of her tickets to singer Olya Polyakova’s concert “Queen of the Night: Encore!”, which was scheduled to take place at Kyiv’s “Palace of Sports” back in October 2020. The event organizer postponed the performance for a year due to strict quarantine restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic; however, in late December 2025, a Kyiv court partially granted the woman’s lawsuit, which she had filed in February 2021. 

The court ordered the organizing company to pay 3,190 hryvnias for the cost of the tickets and an equal amount in late fees. The case file indicates that as early as October 30, 2020, the plaintiff had demanded in writing that the company refund 3,198 hryvnias for two tickets, but received no response at that time.
