Ostapchuk's wife candidly answered whether she misses home after emigrating to Canada
The wife of well-known Ukrainian TV host Volodymyr Ostapchuk—blogger Kateryna Ostapchuk—shared details about their move to Canada and how they’re adjusting to their new life there.
The couple, along with their son Tymofii, has now settled in Montreal, where they have already managed to get settled by renting a private home and buying a car.
Lately, Kateryna’s followers have been actively asking her if she feels nostalgic for Ukraine and if she misses life in Kyiv.
The blogger candidly answered her followers’ questions via her Instagram profile, explaining her own attitude toward the changes in her life.
“Home is where my family is. I don’t miss Kyiv yet. I’m generally not a very nostalgic person. I find it easy to say goodbye to the past and let people go. Montreal is wonderful; I love everything new,” she emphasized in response to users’ questions.
Kateryna noted that the ease with which she is taking the move is making the process of integrating into Canadian society much simpler.
She isn’t one to dwell on the past, preferring instead to explore the new opportunities that life in a different cultural environment offers.
The Ostapchuk family continues to share their daily life in Canada, demonstrating a positive attitude and readiness for new challenges.
According to the blogger, the support of her loved ones during this time is the main factor that gives her a sense of stability and emotional comfort thousands of kilometers away from home.
