Filming took place in secret
According to reporters, the new film was shot in the United Kingdom—specifically in Oxfordshire—as well as in the United States. Last summer, local residents spotted Sacha Baron Cohen in character as Ali G while he was working on the project. However, the actor’s representatives declined to confirm or comment on these reports.
