Singer Phoebe Bridgers Releases On Video for Primetime — Rolling Stone

Singer and songwriter Phoebe Bridgers has released the track On Video, which was included on the soundtrack for Primetime, a crime thriller directed by Lance Oppenheim. The song plays over the film’s end credits, Rolling Stone reports.

Soundtrack for the thriller

On Video is built around guitar riffs. The original score for Primetime was composed by Ari Balouzian, a longtime collaborator of Oppenheim. The soundtrack also includes his track Savior, which was released earlier.

The film is based on To Catch a Predator and its host Chris Hansen, who is played in the film by Robert Pattinson. Bridgers makes her acting debut as Del Harvey, a character who serves as a decoy. Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo and Alex Winter also star in the film.

Film debut

Primetime had its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival. During a press conference, Bridgers said that participating in the project initially seemed very frightening to her, but working with the team turned out to be easy, free and exciting.

The performer is currently touring in support of her solo album Lost Weekend. Earlier, she involved Oppenheim and Gisondo in work on the music video for Lost Boys: Oppenheim directed the video, while Gisondo played a gas station cashier who transforms into a knight.
