Svyatoslav Vakarchuk and Ruslan Baginsky have released charity baseball caps with the word “Friend” on them
Svyatoslav Vakarchuk and Ukrainian designer Ruslan Baginsky have created a joint charity collection of baseball caps. The central element of the collection is the word “Friend,” handwritten by Vakarchuk and reproduced on the caps as embroidery.
The creators explain the idea behind the collection simply: being a friend means staying by someone’s side and offering support.
All 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the baseball caps will be donated to fund modern prosthetics for Ukrainian soldiers at the Unbroken National Rehabilitation Center.
A separate run of 20 collectible baseball caps was also released. They are designed in the blue-and-orange color scheme of the album “Model” by the band “Okean Elzy,” which was released in 2001. They also feature the signatures of the drop’s co-creators, and the packaging is styled to resemble an audio cassette—the very format in which Ukrainians first heard the song “Druh” back in the day.
The charity collection is now available at Ruslan Baginskiy stores and on the brand’s official website.

Ukrainian producer and performer Potap found himself at the center of controversy after a failed joke about Maxim Galkin during the Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala 2026 festival in Latvia. Alla Pugacheva and her husband were in attendance at the event, and the artists’ reaction to Potap’s remarks sparked a wave of discussion on social media.
Gennady Viter, the producer of the “Music Platform” project and a singer himself, stated that he would not invite Potap to participate in his show. According to him, the reason is the artist’s lack of a clear stance on the war in Ukraine.
