Nicosia to host two wordless performances for families — Cyprus Mail
In Nicosia, Cyprus, two wordless performances will be staged in October as part of the NIF Family productions by the Nicosia International Festival. They are intended for audiences of different ages, Cyprus Mail reports.
David and Goliath
On October 3, the New Stage of the Cyprus Theatre Organisation will host David and Goliath. Choreographer Ian Garside and actor Thomas Pozzi reinterpret the story of David and Goliath through movement, tenderness and a playful mood.
The production will be presented twice — at 11:00 and 16:00. According to the festival's description, it tells children about the possibility of victory for someone who appears weaker, while reminding adults that strength does not always appear where it is expected.

Souvenirs: Claire & Antho
On October 17 at 19:00, the Nicosia Municipal Theatre will host Souvenirs: Claire & Antho, a joint project of the Mitsikouri festival and the Nicosia International Festival.
The performance combines light and shadows, optical illusions, video projections, movement and dance. The plot focuses on a man returning to his memories and to the moment he met the woman he loved. For children, a world of images unfolds on stage, while for adults the production addresses memories, dreams and life experience.
