The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine intends to allocate more than 4 billion hryvnias in the draft state budget for 2027 to fund the second season of “Tysiachovesna,” a program supporting Ukrainian cultural products.

This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy and Minister of Culture Tetiana Berezhna during the first day of the project’s final pitching session in Ivano-Frankivsk.

In 2026, 4 billion hryvnias are earmarked for the initiative, of which the actual allocation will amount to 3.2 billion hryvnias (80%). A total of 1,227 projects in the fields of film, music, and the arts were admitted to the third stage of the current competition. In 2027, the program is set to expand significantly to include support for online games, print and audiobooks, as well as literary festivals and fairs.

This was reported by Radio SKOVORODA.

In 2026, up to 3.2 billion hryvnias may be allocated to the “Tysiachovesna” cultural support program.

The “Tysiachovesna” grant program to support Ukrainian culture has already received over a thousand applications from authors and creative teams across the country. A significant portion of the projects are debut works, and the final selection results are scheduled to be announced on June 12.
