Russian actor Alexander Vysokovsky died while fishing in the Moscow region
Russian actor, director, and screenwriter Alexander Vysokovsky died in an accident in the Moscow region. He was 62 years old.
According to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the body of a man who had gone missing the day before in the Pushchinskaya Spit area was found in the Oka River. Law enforcement agencies confirmed that the deceased was Alexander Vysokovsky.
According to Russian Telegram channels, on June 30, Vysokovsky went fishing with his son.
It is reported that at some point, the actor walked downstream and did not return. His son made his way home on his own, and the actor’s wife reported his disappearance to law enforcement.
Rescue workers then arrived at the scene and began a search operation. Vysokovsky’s body was later found in the water.
Over the course of his career, Alexander Vysokovsky played more than 25 roles in Russian films and TV series.
He gained the most fame for his role as Max in the crime series “Brigada.” The actor also appeared in a cameo role in the film “Boomer.”
In addition to his acting career, Vysokovsky worked as a director and screenwriter, participating in the creation of a number of television and film projects.
Alexander Vysokovsky has not commented in any way on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. His name does not appear on any lists of cultural figures who have publicly supported or, conversely, condemned the war.
