Zelenskyy has awarded Zinkevych a lifetime state scholarship
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has awarded a lifetime state scholarship to People's Artist of Ukraine Vasyl Zinkevych.
The head of state signed the corresponding decree No. 496/2026 on June 15.
The document provides for the awarding of state scholarships to outstanding figures in culture and the arts in accordance with a presidential decree from 2011.
Vasyl Zinkevych is one of Ukraine’s most famous pop singers, a People’s Artist of Ukraine, and a laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine.
