Kherson and Mykolaiv were left without power

On September 8, a large-scale power outage occurred in Kherson, Mykolaiv, and some settlements in those regions. Power is currently out, and experts are investigating the causes and working to restore the power grids.

In Kherson, the entire community is without power. Yaroslav Shanko, head of the Kherson City Military Administration, reported that the causes of the emergency outage are still being determined.

In the Mykolaiv region, power went out in the regional capital and a number of towns and villages. According to Georgiy Reshetilov, acting head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, utility workers are addressing the consequences of previous Russian shelling.

In the event of a prolonged power outage, residents can turn to Resilience Centers. These centers operate around the clock, where people can charge their phones, access communication services, and receive other basic services.
