Emergency power outages have been implemented in the Sumy region
In part of the Sumy region, special three-stage emergency power outage schedules have been implemented.
Sumyoblenergo explained that these restrictions are being implemented at the direction of the Ukrenergo dispatcher to quickly relieve the load on the power grid. They involve shutting down power lines, transformers, and substations.
Power company officials noted that while emergency schedules are in effect, it is impossible to notify consumers in advance of the duration of the power outages.
According to experts, the difficult situation in the power grid is linked to the consequences of Russian aggression and rising air temperatures.

Earlier, “Mykolaivoblenergo” added that from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., hourly power outages involving one rotation may be implemented.
As a reminder, Ukrenergo has warned of possible prolonged power outages this summer.
