Ukrenergo does not plan any power outages on August 23
On August 22, Ukrenergo announced that no electricity consumption restrictions are planned for Sunday, August 23, in Ukraine. At the same time, energy officials urged the public to use electricity sparingly and to limit the use of high-power appliances to daytime hours between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
“Tomorrow, Sunday, no restrictions are planned,” the company’s statement reads.
The company urges consumers to use high-power appliances between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

As a reminder, as of August 18, due to Russian shelling of energy infrastructure, some consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Chernihiv, Kherson, and Kharkiv regions were left without power. Energy workers are working to restore power.
Over the past week, DTEK’s energy workers have fully or partially restored power to 496 settlements in three regions that had been left without electricity due to Russian shelling.
In Zaporizhzhia, power was restored to 13,500 customers.
