Absa Bank Ghana receives bancassurance award in Ghana
Absa Bank Ghana has become the recipient of the Bancassurance Leadership Award 2026 at the Ghana Insurance Awards in Ghana. The distinction was awarded for the bank’s work in providing integrated financial protection to individuals and businesses.
Insurance products through the bank
As MyJoyOnline reports, the award is linked to Absa’s efforts to expand access to life insurance and other types of insurance. The bank cooperates in this area with Enterprise Life and Hollard Insurance.
Absa’s bancassurance model provides access to life, health, education, motor and home insurance through the bank’s branch network and digital platforms.

Absa Bank Ghana’s Executive Director for Retail, Personal and Business Banking, Kobla Nyaletey, said that the award recognizes the work of the bank’s teams and partners aimed at making insurance accessible, relevant and part of everyday banking services.
The Ghana Insurance Awards recognizes achievements and innovations in the insurance industry. The Bancassurance Leadership Award is presented annually to a financial institution for leadership in product provision, customer reach and industry impact.
