Oracle shares could more than double, Bernstein analyst says
According to MarketWatch, Bernstein analyst Mark Merdler believes Oracle shares may be poised for significant growth. In his view, the company’s stock could potentially more than double. Merdler called the shares extremely controversial and volatile and described Oracle as one of the most difficult companies in the software sector.
Funding concerns
In a note published on Wednesday, Merdler drew attention to investor concerns about Oracle’s profitability. He also noted that investors doubt the company’s ability to provide the cash needed to fund long-term contractual obligations that cannot be canceled.
