State budget revenues exceeded 1 trillion hryvnia over four months
In January–April 2026, the General Fund of Ukraine’s state budget received 1.04 trillion hryvnias.
This was reported by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
Tax revenues accounted for the bulk of the income. Specifically, 204.9 billion hryvnias came from VAT on imports, 130.8 billion hryvnias from personal income tax and the military levy, 112.1 billion hryvnias each from corporate income tax and VAT on goods produced in Ukraine, and another 100.6 billion hryvnias from excise tax.
In addition, the budget received 20.1 billion UAH in customs duties and 17.2 billion UAH in rent payments.
International aid remains an important source: over four months, Ukraine received 228.2 billion UAH in grants from partners.
In April, the National Bank transferred UAH 73 billion in profits to the budget.
In total, the general and special funds received UAH 1.43 trillion, while expenditures amounted to UAH 1.7 trillion.
During this period, the state raised 244.3 billion UAH in borrowings, of which 176.4 billion UAH came from domestic government bonds and 67.9 billion UAH from external sources, including financing from the IMF.
Public debt repayments totaled 190.1 billion UAH, while debt servicing costs amounted to 103.2 billion UAH.
