Crypto owner lost $340,000 due to old wallet permission
Experts from CertiK reported that a hacker drained $340,000 by exploiting a permission the wallet owner signed back in 2020 on a phishing site.

The attacker did not access the wallet for years — simply waited. Once large sums appeared on the address, the hacker executed a single operation and took all the USDC tokens. Such incidents highlight the importance of regularly reviewing permissions and revoking accesses no longer in use.
