LHV to close customer service offices in Tartu and Pärnu
LHV Bank will close its customer service offices in Tartu and Pärnu, Estonia, from October 31, 2026. The decision is linked to the expiry of lease agreements, changes in how banking services are used, and a long-term decline in the number of office visitors, ERR News reports.
Transition to digital services
In a stock exchange announcement, LHV said that the bank decided to close both offices in August. An increasing number of customers use banking services through digital channels, and this year the bank has also increased investments in the development of such services.
The closure of the two offices will result in the elimination of three customer service positions. In Pärnu, around ten more people work in the office daily in other roles. They will continue working in their current positions, although the office will be completely closed.

Reduction of space in Tartu
Tartu will remain an important work location for LHV, but the bank plans to reduce its office space there. The company also took into account the opening of a new headquarters in Tallinn, planned for 2028. This will make it possible to bring together more employees and teams in one location.
LHV Group's total net profit for the first eight months of 2026 amounted to €63.8 million, which was €4.6 million below the financial plan. Compared with the same period of the previous year, the figure was 19% lower. LHV Bank's net profit for this period reached €61.3 million, which was €5.7 million below plan.
