Latest forecast for magnetic storms on June 9–10
For June 9–10, experts are forecasting a mostly calm geomagnetic situation with no significant magnetic storms. Despite this, weather-sensitive people may occasionally experience mild changes in their well-being, such as fatigue or headaches, due to fluctuations in solar activity.
Geomagnetic activity is measured on a scale from 0 to 9. The planetary K-index is used for classification; a reading of 5 or higher indicates a strong magnetic storm.
On Tuesday, June 9, solar activity with a K-index of 5.7 (red level) is expected, corresponding to strong magnetic storms capable of affecting human health and well-being.
On Wednesday, June 10, solar activity with a K-index of 3.7 (green level) is expected, corresponding to weak magnetic storms.
It is important to note that magnetic storm forecasts may change, as solar activity researchers update their data every three hours.
