Condé Nast CEO Roger Lynch to lead Mattel — CNBC
In the United States, toy company Mattel has appointed Roger Lynch as its new chief executive officer and chairman of the board of directors. He will replace Ynon Kreiz, who has led the company since 2018, CNBC Top News reports.

Lynch, who has been a member of Mattel’s board of directors since 2018, will assume the role of board chairman on October 2. He will become the company’s chief executive officer by November 2.
Roger Lynch is currently the chief executive officer of media company Condé Nast, a position he has held since 2019. In a Mattel statement, he said he was pleased to lead the company’s team and had highly valued its brands, employees, and corporate culture during his time on the board of directors.

Ynon Kreiz’s departure
Ynon Kreiz will leave Mattel after more than eight years at the helm of the company to take an executive position at another public company. During his tenure, Mattel underwent significant transformations, including releasing the film “Barbie,” which became the highest-grossing film at the domestic box office in 2023.
Kreiz said he was proud of the achievements of Mattel’s global team and considers the company strong due to its brand portfolio, product range, and global capabilities.
