Nike Caitlin 1 sneakers nearly sell out in under two hours — CNBC
In the United States, the Nike Caitlin 1 signature basketball shoe for Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark nearly sold out in less than two hours after sales began. As CNBC reports, the sneakers went on sale on Nike's website at 10:00 a.m. U.S. Eastern Time.
Large sizes remained available
About an hour after the launch on Nike.com, only the largest sizes — above size 15 — remained available. It is unknown how many pairs Nike put up for sale.
The model was also nearly sold out at Foot Locker, Champs Sports and Hibbett. Listings for Caitlin 1 have already appeared on eBay starting at $200, while the suggested retail price of a pair is $140.

Two colorways
Nike released the Caitlin 1 in two colors: Caitlin Blue and bright yellow. The sneakers are available in adult sizes, while children's sizes are marked as coming soon.
This is Nike's first signature model for Clark. The company signed the basketball player in 2022, when she was studying and playing for the University of Iowa. In April 2024, Clark reportedly signed an eight-year, $28 million deal with Nike.
The model was released ahead of the third game of the WNBA playoff series between the Indiana Fever and the Las Vegas Aces, which was to take place in Las Vegas. For the Fever, the game was decisive: a loss would have meant elimination from the tournament.
