The Ministry of Economy has clarified whether the "National Cashback" program will continue in July
June 30, 2026, is a technical deadline for the use of funds already allocated, not the end date of the "National Cashback" program.
Deputy Minister of Economy Vitaliy Kindrativ stated in an interview with Ukrinform that further decisions regarding the initiative’s operation will be made based on demand, effectiveness, and budgetary constraints. Funding levels may be adjusted throughout the year depending on the actual strain on the state budget.
During the program’s duration, a 10% increase in purchases of Ukrainian goods has been recorded, and in the dairy and confectionery categories, demand has shifted from imports to domestic products by 12%. Citizens spend the funds received within the country, which helps support legal businesses and increase tax revenues. The government views this mechanism as a behavioral economics tool for shaping a new consumption model. As of the end of March, approximately 4.4 million Ukrainians are receiving monthly payments, and the total amount of cashback paid out has reached 6.7 billion UAH.
As a reminder, a new fuel purchase compensation program was launched in Ukraine on March 20. Ukrainians will be able to receive partial cashback for refueling at gas stations that join the initiative.
Additionally, the national cashback rate has been increased to 15%.
