The NBU strengthened the hryvnia against the dollar but weakened it slightly against the euro
The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rates for Wednesday, July 8. According to data from the financial regulator, the Ukrainian currency strengthened against the U.S. dollar but lost ground slightly against the euro.
The official exchange rate for the dollar was set at 44.51 hryvnia per dollar, indicating a 5-kopeck appreciation of our national currency compared to the previous banking day. At the same time, the euro exchange rate was set at 50.88 hryvnia per euro, meaning the hryvnia lost 1 kopeck. On the interbank foreign exchange market, as of 4:00 p.m., quotes stood at 44.48/44.53 UAH/USD and 50.87/50.91 UAH/EUR.
Some fluctuations were also observed in the cash market throughout July 7. At commercial bank teller windows, the average exchange rate for the U.S. dollar fell by 8 kopecks, reaching 44.84 hryvnia (purchases averaged 44.36 hryvnia). The average euro exchange rate at banks fell by 17 kopecks to 51.28 hryvnia (purchase rate: 50.67 hryvnia). Specifically, at PrivatBank, the cash exchange rate for the U.S. dollar fell by 5 kopecks to 44.80 hryvnia, while the euro dropped by 20 kopecks, settling at 51.30 hryvnia.

As of the morning of July 7, the average exchange rate for the dollar at currency exchange offices is 44.65 hryvnia for buying (-1 kopeck) and 44.55 hryvnia for selling.

On Saturday, July 4, exchange rates for major currencies in Ukraine remained stable.
