Hanna Shuvalova, Principal at Horizon Capital, Joins the Strategic Board of Diia.City United

Diia.City United has further strengthened its Strategic Board by appointing Hanna Shuvalova, Principal at Horizon Capital.

Hanna first joined the Horizon team in 2017 as an Investment Associate. Leveraging her experience at Genesis, a Ukrainian technology company, Hanna worked with a portfolio of technology companies and analyzed new investment opportunities.

In 2019, she suspended her work at Horizon Capital to pursue an MBA at Stanford Business School. Simultaneously, Hanna co-founded Pawa, a venture studio specializing in artificial intelligence. Under her leadership, Pawa raised funding from international investors and launched several startups.

In May 2023, Hanna Shuvalova rejoined Horizon Capital as a Principal. A year later, in May 2024, she became a member of the Strategic Board of Diia.City United.

Hanna Shuvalova will work on the association's priority tasks together with Artem Borodatyuk (Netpeak Group), Den Dmytrenko (Roosh), Dmytro Dubrovsky (Uklon), Oleg Gorokhovskyi (monobank), Aleksandr Konotopskyi (AJAX), Oleksandr Kosovan (MacPaw), Nazarii Kurochko (GIGAGROUP), Volodymyr Mnogoletnii (Genesis), Roman Prokofiev (Jooble) and other founders and CEOs of Ukraine's largest technology companies. Additionally, together with the Executive Director Nataliya Mykolska, Hanna will work on expanding opportunities for women and veterans in the technology sector.
