Diesel and autogas prices continue to fall at gas stations in Ukraine
After the U.S. and Iran reached a preliminary agreement to unblock ports in the Strait of Hormuz and resume shipping, global oil prices fell, which was reflected in Ukrainian prices.
Earlier, Serhiy Kuyun, director of the “A-95 Consulting Group,” had predicted exactly this turn of events. According to him, diesel was the most problematic item (in March, its price skyrocketed by nearly 30 hryvnias), so it now had the greatest potential for a price drop.
Today, June 17, compared to yesterday, premium chains (OKKO, WOG, SOCAR) lowered prices by 1 hryvnia per liter for regular diesel and high-quality diesel fuel. Autogas prices fell by 1 hryvnia at most chains and by 50 kopecks at Ukrnafta.
In addition, the state-owned network was the first to lower the price of regular diesel fuel below the psychological threshold—to 79.90 UAH/liter. A-95 gasoline prices remain stable, ranging from 73.90 to 78.90 UAH/liter (premium grades—up to 82.90 UAH/liter).
