Ukraine Has Simplified War Risk Insurance for Businesses Near the Front Lines
Ukraine has simplified the process for obtaining compensation for damaged or destroyed business property in frontline areas. From now on, a single application is sufficient for all affected property, without having to wait for the data to be entered into the State Register.
In addition, the deadline for submitting applications for compensation of insurance premiums has been extended to August 1, and the procedure for calculating compensation of up to 3 million hryvnias per year has been clarified. Since the beginning of the year, 139 applications from businesses in frontline areas have already been approved, totaling 2.67 billion UAH in estimated compensation.
Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced this on Telegram.
As a reminder, the government has expanded housing rental compensation for veterans: who is eligible and how much they can receive.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted, in the second reading and as a whole, draft law No. 12295-d, which provides for compensation for the costs of mandatory civil liability insurance for owners of land vehicles (OSCPV) for certain categories of the population.
