Bezugla has returned to the Servant of the People faction
People’s Deputy Mariana Bezuhla has rejoined the “Servant of the People” parliamentary faction. She left the faction in 2024 and had been an independent member of parliament ever since.
Bezugla decided to return to “Servant of the People” two years after leaving. At the same time, the lawmaker had previously stated that her return was primarily due to the need to advance certain parliamentary initiatives.
Thus, Bezuhla has once again become a member of the “Servant of the People” faction in the Verkhovna Rada.
MPs Yaroslav Zheleznyak and Oleksiy Goncharenko announced Bezuhla’s return to the faction.
Prior to this, Bill No. 15431 was registered in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, which provides for a large-scale reform of the hunting industry, the digitization of the sector, and changes to hunting regulations. At the same time, the bill has already drawn sharp criticism from animal welfare and environmental organizations, which are calling on members of parliament to reject it as early as the first reading.
As a reminder, the Verkhovna Rada prematurely terminated the mandates of People’s Deputies Denys Maslov and Vitalii Bezgin, who were members of the “Servant of the People” faction. Parliament adopted the relevant resolutions during a plenary session on July 17.
